John Kornegay

John Kornegay is a composer/arranger and woodwind player in the Chicago area who brings 25 years of professional experience with him, a graduate of the DePaul University School of Music with a Bachelor of Music Composition. Performance credits range from big bands, commercial jingles, club and concert work to theater pit orchestras, having played the Chicago runs of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Victor/Victoria", "Will Rogers Follies", "Damn Yankees" and many others. Writing credits range from commissioned chamber works to big band arrangements, orchestrations and reductions for numerous theatrical productions, as well as music and arrangements for many commercials, industrials and film, including music for the 1999 Academy Award nominated film "Eyewitness".
