Musical Theater Experience:
Carey Deadman has been involved in Musical Theater (playing trumpet) since 1977.
He worked for the "American Music Theater" and the "Young Americans" when he was 17-21.
Toured with "West Side Story" for a year (National Tour).
Played numerous theater gigs in Chicago since 1987
Lead Trumpet for "The Producers", working with Mel Brooks, and Orchestrators Doug Besterman and Larry Blank (Palace Theater - Chicago).
Worked with Stephen Sondheim and Orchestrator Jonathon Tunick on the original production of "Bounce" (Goodman Theater - Chicago)

Writing Experience:

Arranging and Orchestrating for the Drury Lane theater since 1996

He reorchestrated the shout chorus of "Fly Me to the Moon" for Frank Sinatra.
